We have important news for anyone planning a trip to the Seychelles. Seyfinity has partnered with the Eden Island management company — and we can now offer official accommodation rental on the island directly: apartments, maisons and villas at owner's prices, with no agency markup. Along with your booking, you also receive a document confirming your place of stay — the very document required when applying for your Travel Authorisation to enter the country.

What is Eden Island

Eden Island is a man-made island off the eastern coast of Mahé, connected to it by a bridge and just minutes from the capital, Victoria. It's a gated residential marina community: its own beach, canals with boat moorings, swimming pools, a shopping centre and restaurants on site. It's a format that's hard to find anywhere else in the Seychelles — you don't stay in a hotel room, but in a full house, with all the resort infrastructure right at hand.

What we can offer

Through our partnership with the management company, the full range of properties on the island is available to us:

• Apartments — two-bedroom, three-bedroom and larger. Suitable for couples and small families.
• Maisons — spacious houses with up to six bedrooms, with or without a pool. A great option for large families and groups travelling together.
• Villas — with ocean views and a private pool. Maximum privacy and space.

You can rent short-term — for the duration of your holiday — or under a long-term agreement. In the second case, the daily rate is noticeably more favourable, so if you're staying for a month or longer, be sure to mention this when you send your request.

Why our price is lower than on booking platforms

We work directly with the Eden Island management company rather than reselling third-party listings. This means you get the official owner's price with no markup from us — and, as a rule, a lower rate than the same properties cost on international aggregators like Booking, where the platform's commission is already built into the price.

What's included in the price

Besides the accommodation itself, guests get access to the island's entire infrastructure — at no extra charge:

• Parking
• Swimming pool on the Eden Island grounds
• Island beach
• Gym
• Tennis court
• A golf cart — included with the house or apartment

The golf cart deserves a special mention: it's a convenient way to get around Eden Island — between your home, the beach, the shops and the marina — and it removes the need to rent a car if you don't plan on making frequent trips to Mahé.

The entry document: why you need it

This is probably the most practical part of the news. All travellers are required to obtain a Travel Authorisation before departure — it's issued online via the official Seychelles Electronic Border System portal or through the Seychelles E-Border app, and applications can be submitted no earlier than 30 days before arrival.

One of the mandatory requirements is proof of accommodation for the entire length of your stay. The application requires you to upload a document stating the name of the property where you'll be staying — separately for each place of accommodation if you're moving between islands. What's more, immigration rules require the booking to be made with a licensed establishment — which is exactly why 'official' here isn't a formality, but a condition for passing the check.

When you book through us, you receive this document as a PDF file that you can attach to your application right away. This removes the typical headache faced by those renting from private owners: either no confirmation is issued at all, or it fails verification.

Please note: this document confirms your accommodation, but the decision to grant the Travel Authorisation is made by the Seychelles Immigration Department. Before travelling, check the current requirements on the official portal — rules can change.

Additionally: transfers

As a separate service, we also arrange airport transfers both ways, as well as trips around the island. This is convenient if you're arriving late or with a lot of luggage — you'll be met and taken straight to your accommodation.
